Leong Ooi Ling

Leong Ooi Ling is a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice of the Firm with 13 years of experience in the area of intellectual property (IP) prosecution and litigation. Prior to joining the Firm, she was an IP partner of one of the largest full-service law firms in Malaysia and an IP partner of the local member firm of Baker McKenzie International.

Leong Ooi Ling is a registered Patent Agent, Trademark Agent and Industrial Design Agent. She practices in all areas of IP law which includes IP litigation, prosecution, advisory, enforcement of IP rights and advising on issues such as brand strategy.

Leong Ooi Ling represented her clients in IP disputes involving trademarks, trade names, copyright, industrial designs and patents. In addition to IP prosecution and litigation, Ooi Ling also has experience in assisting clients in the preparation and review of IP agreements, IP clauses in commercial contracts, IP clauses in employment contracts and employees’ handbook and other IP related legal documents.
